Sep 5, 2008 - You've been telling yourself that the things that you do are not wrong are just your "endstinks" tell you what to do and that you have no control over what happens in your life because of the things that you do. Welcome to being human. God forgives that. He rewards what you do above that.

Sep 5, 2008 - Shoot me a line if you think I'm telling the truth. Hell, shoot me a line if you think I'm a lieing sack of shit! Life is a wonderful thing, and we are not doing it by ourselves! History, and biblical history, are the story of humanity. We are the things that we share. This is just another wonderful day here in fucking paradise! Noone is shooting at you, you don't live in a tent, and you can buy all the beer you want when you get off of work tonight! Fucking Paradise! And a bunch of

Sep 5, 2008 - Here is a little statement I came up with to help us understand why we need to drop the delusion of believing in sky-daddies, or whatever turns you on.The reason for the season is the NEED for the Season of Reason. (Saxmanchiro)

topdawg911 Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - Condemning christianity does not mean, that all religions are to be condemned.

CptWang Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - Err...the Enlightenment?

lolanonymouse Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - Nice formulation there. You are totally right topdawg911, just because christianity is wrong does not necessarily mean that all other religions are preposterous (even though they are). Though I think that mediatedthought is right while saying "Faith is the excuse we give ourselves to believe in something without good reason" In the vidinfo. We have no better reason to 'believe' in a greater power. xD

saxmanchiro Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - CptWangSure, let's call it that if you wish. I have waited 42 yrs for this end to the delusion that is religion. The generation coming into adulthood is showing strong signs of helping our society finally drop the delusion. I am very excited about that. This media and other blogs are helping them to see the truth behind the mythology. So I call it 'The Season of Reason'. The best way to leave a delusional mindset is through enlightenment or education. Hatred between religions is not progress.

CptWang Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - Change is in the air true. My point wasthat the age of reason can be seen in the 17th&18th century enlightenment &yet mankind still craved something more. Religion shouldn't be that something morebut lacking anything else, it stood in place.Science is a way nota replacement, & without some kind of mythology we will be forever unnourished in the ways that really matter. This is nothing Nietzsche hasn't already said I know but the current climate among disbelievers strikes me as extremely myopic.

saxmanchiro Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - The movement might be myopic, in this case, it's a good myopia, in my opinion. The sooner we drop the mass delusion, the better for mankind and all earth's creatures. Reason has to prevail for us to survive our own insanity.
