You will see a squad of bike and foot cops ORDERED to march into the center of a permitted anti war demonstration during a punk concert. They create a line seperating the crowd. Tensions mount (no shit). Finally a cop with some authority on the ground say's "Why are we doing this?" Since none of the ranking officers on the ground have any idea why they were ordered into the crowd... they leave. That's a good cop. I huge issue for officer safety is distance. That is, they carry numerous weapons (like guns) that are easily accecable to any one who gets close to them. During situations like these, they have a right to keep people at a safe distance for officer safety AND YOURS. If you don't comply, then see my first comment. This sh!t isn't rocket science.

There is a system that is used called the "Control Force Continuim." That means, if someone does not follow verbal commands, they're going to go to the next step on the continuim and use physical force. If you resist, your now getting charged with a felony and once again the next step on the continuim is taken. THEY use force until YOU comply.

Yes, there are hundreds of videos on YouTube of Police Brutality, but there also just as many showing those few good cops doing the right thing. I applaud the author of this video for standing up for his rights AND posting that link really showing that there are good cops.
