Sep 5, 2008 - I definitely have noticed and agree that she sounds much more like '70's Diana in concerts than on other shows. She was GREAT on Inside the Actor's Studio. It's My Turn sounded like how she would've done it 20 years ago. On tour she probably takes better care of her voice than when she's just doing one song on a TV show. Maybe it's more of a priority when it's her own concert?

Sep 5, 2008 - Perhaps.I've always wondered if it's nervousness, control issues, etc. Comfort issues? Who knows?I'm just glad that she sounds great here, and hope that she'll tape the show in either Japan or Ahoy in the Netherlands, the sources of many of her more recent concert clips on YouTube.
