Aug 21, 2008 - mailrobert your a complete dumbass musically. Chinos voice especially when he isn't having a bad day is great in it's own way. He has a spacey vulnerability that is very atmosphereic and his screams can turn into controled high pitch wailing. Most metal singers exhale and some inhale but the inhalez are always distorted and more like pig squeals. His are more like clean powerful shrieks though he has been none to do distorted shrieks aswell.

Aug 21, 2008 - You have a little video with Robert Smith you uploaded pertaining to the song "Boys Don't Cry" so if you listen to the cure and you listen to a soft song like that you can't really say Chino has a gay ass voice when vocally thats Chino's biggest influence and they are quite simular in having a somber sound. And while we can all have our opinion the fact still remains that the Deftones are one of the few influential progressive experimental metal bands of today. Your simply a twat poor taste.
