In this short film,courageous Jesuit University students from across thecountry commemorate the lives of the priests, nuns andlocal people slaughtered by trainees from the Schoolof the Americas located in Fort Benning, Georgia.Seattle University students take us on their journeyfrom Seattle to Fort Benning in their heartfelt effortto close down the terrorist training. The film wasproduced by Phil Duncan and Erin Foran. Next, is The Corporal's Boots another award winningfilm. "Some people have taken it as an antiwarstatement; some people have taken it as a tribute andmemorial to our fallen heroes." Recalling the subtleintensity of the Viet Nam memorial in Washington DC,this story of one soldier's boots in the nationalexhibit, "Eyes Wide Open", presents the inescapablewartime reality of lives lost and families wounded. Ahaunting, original score by local composer, BrianKinsella and the hammerlock of raw emotion create arare viewing experience. Produced by Patricia Boikoand Winning Pictures, LLC. The next film, "Zapped," transforms a doctor's heartstopping ordeal into visual poetry. It combinesfireworks and human sacrifice into whimsical dramaabout a serious medical problem: atrial fibrillation.Set to the beat of the all-girl band, Smoosh, it is agrand display of BBQ'd doctor flesh. Last is the comical, rapid paced "25,000 Years ofEvolution Leads to This" with the musical performanceof the Seattle Indy Band, Discs of Fury. The editingand artful of interspersion of footage from an EastAfrica chimpanzee expedition makes this one of RussianDocumentary Filmmaker, Ester Schub's best work yet.
