Soviet Pooh's behavior and the lines he says are taken directly from the story in the book without any major change. So you're criticism of "soviet bear's" attitude should go to original story. Soviet version is much closer to original Milne's text and characters than the overly sweet adaptation of Disney's. Go read the fuckin book. Then come back and critisize this gorgeous cartoon if you still have anything to say.

Sep 6, 2008 - The character is in the book, it's the little boy to whom the story is addressed, and he's incorporated in it as well by the narrator. Winnie is Christopher's teddy-bear. I haven't seen all of the Soviet Vinni cartoons, but i don't think that he appears in any; he's been replaced with Piglet in the first story, for instance.
