As background, "Mars Blackmon" was the fictional character from the 1986 film "She's Gotta Have It" and is the alter-ego of filmmaker Spike Lee. During the 1980's and early 1990's Mars was the pitchman in Nike commercials for Air Jordans, (Fresh's sneaker of choice)..So without further ado, we present to you "50 Dollar Sneakers".
