Oct 13, 2008 - The bouncing bomb totally fasinates me, what an amazing invention from another brilliant english man. :)

ScriptorSarpedon Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - @skylauren2000 It wasnt invented by an english man -,-It was invented by german engineers.

m00bie Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - It was invented by Wallace and English man,After it was dropped on Germany the Germans found an unexploded one and reverse engeneered it.

Joe22300 Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - They tried to, but screwed up and eventually scrapped the project.

Gigagannet Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - Excellent documentry well done!

RipDeLips Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - "They tried to, but screwed up and eventually scrapped the project."No, they did quite well with theirs. In fact, the Germans had even made rocket powered skipping bombs with a longer effective range. The project was scrapped only to support other interests in long range bombers.

phygos2003 Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - didnt stop the nazi warmachin at all, but drowned hundreds of slaveworkers, women and children in sleep. bombing railways was much mor efficient

barrettrifles Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - yeah but is was more propaganda than killing.

phygos2003 Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - poor soldiers that had to that mission ... pure siucide. The dams where heavy fortified whit antiaircraft artillery. and they ignored that the watersupply in germany was connected. even if all dams would have been destroyd, the industry allways got enough water. "only" the normal people would have been run out of water.

BritishRulingClass Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - "Normal People" All Germans were legitimate targets as I'm not aware of many armies that build their own weapons.

phygos2003 Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - Jip thats right. The where good targets .. as well as the british civilians where good targets. They didn´t shoot back like soldiers would. Easy bodycount.

luuc99 Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - those fucking idiots all those people were Slaves of those krauts

gordonl Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - ALSO... they all deserved to die.

Oct 13, 2008 - Was that pilot an American?

Gruntol5 Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - Canadian!

Bassmanbbn4 Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - If you mean J.C. McCarthy then the answer is 'Yes'. He was from Brooklyn and before the war he was a lifeguard at Coney Island. He passed away in 1998 aged 79.

UnUnNi1ium Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - I wonder if I wouldn't run away if a giant bouncing bomb veered off right next to where I'm filming.

carbo73 Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - That is amazing. Such masive bombs bouncing like peebles!

toobiest Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - You're n embarrassment to the British, are you a sixteen year old Harrovian?

BritishRulingClass Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - An old Harrovian of sixteen? No, the grandson of a blitz victim, the bombs having been built by civilian munition workers in German factories...... get the link? Probably not.

trance2307 Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - Barnes Wallis was a genius of his time.

telboy1966manu Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - I have always been in awe of the Dambuster pilots. I've never seen this documentary before and it puts their feat into even greater perspective. The skill and bravery of each and every one of the crew is quite astonishing. Imaingine flying at 60 feet at night into the teeth of awful AA fire...we're not worthy.

moosey62 Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - City will bomb Schalke.

racecardriver467 Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - wow, that high ball bomb is somthing else!!!
