Jul 7, 2008 - I don't want anybody to tack over anything. Maybe take... but not tack.

ShadowArtist Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Damn, what's next? The robots take over and everyone gets pluged into real-life version of The Matrix by 2055?

mahbrocigarettes Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - im gonna fuckin kill myself or get robot hands. this is kind of depressing

cristianremingtonjm Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Wow! I love robotics. That IS control engineering.

Jul 7, 2008 - That motorized wheelchair looks like it's going to fall over.

Dirtfire Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Disneyland has had stuff like that for decades, except they couldn't roll around the floor. They're called animatronics. Type 'disneyland skyway animatronic' into youtube.

Dirtfire Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Japan may be in the humanoid-type robot-motion department. Europe and especially America are way ahead when it comes to "AI".

MariusSoma Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - LMAO - What, to compensate for the low IQ of the people there? Yeah, it makes sense why they would be striving to achieve this ASAP. You also forget, the highest achieving ethnic group in the USA are Asians, and they bring in expertise from abroad (like after WWII they had German scientists to get them into space, they wouldnt have achieved it otherwise), the same goes for Europe. The standards in literally everything in Asia are incomprehensible to Westerners.

Dirtfire Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - You know, this was all preprogrammed by a human, alexlai. They're just showing how accurately the robot can preform that preprogrammed song. This is not a demostration of robot brains, but robot motor-control and accuracy.

Dirtfire Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - There's nothing wrong with white American IQ, it's just that the educational system sucks and too many people fry their brains on drugs. Things were quite different 40 years ago. But anyway, the fact remains that Americans are ahead in AI.Oh, and btw Marius, Germans are white too.

INaTree69 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - death is in its eyes

MariusSoma Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - The fact that Germans are white has nothing to do with what I was saying.

knightablaze Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Not tremolo, vibrato...

FOfox05 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - i want one from every one of them ..... pleas.

sciviolin Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - And the robot has how many fingers on the left hand? Us violinists only have four and I beleive the robot has more than those. But anyway, I think it is amazing that it can play the violin. It's very good.

BittenMitten Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - fuck toyota

demonwerewolf110 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - no...it has four. you can see it very well at about :30-:34 there.

johnvines Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - i smell war waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar i tell ya

Cheswik101 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - America and Europe are innovative countries. Asian countries are primarily focused on bettering what's already around, especially South Korea and Japan. China just likes to run people out of jobs by reverse engineering and figuring out how to make things less reliable, cheaper, and more deadly (i.e. lead in paint...)

diegohernan82 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I pay to see a Samurai Robot...

ilikefriendz Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I challenge the robot to a violon contest!!! HA! I CAN PLAY POMP AND CIRCUM STANCE EVEN BETTER!!!=P

Loulziez Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Europe isn't a country.
