Oct 10, 2008 - I first saw this movie..when I was 15....I am now 47.... How I identify Ted Neeley's looks... with our version of what Jesus is supposed to look like, has never changed. After all these years.. the man still gives me chills... I love him so... his voice is so inspiring, and when I see any *picture* or event with him..it always brings me closer to Jesus,something I never did as a kid..I turned my back..something I will always be sorry for... I do hope Jesus can forgive me one day....for doing so.

Oct 10, 2008 - Well, I saw a 2000 remake of this and I can surely tell you that it's totaly nothing in compare with that. I don't want to hurt anyone but here we can see a real strong man that is overfilled with anger and misunderstanding. When he says "Can you show me now!" I'm getting shivers.And in 2000 version I see a crying boy, that kind of man could not lead anyone anywhere.
