Sep 6, 2008 - The fact that they hesitated to chose the character in the coffin is in some ways a spoiler because it means the character doesn't matter, what wouldn't be the case if an actor had chosen to leave the show, so I think it's not too presumptuous to suppose that Locke is probably still alive.
