Jul 7, 2008 - read the book did some research, look into Mr. Wright I wish the book has more citing or foot notes through out the book. Anyways Lawrence is an active member of the CFR, research the CFR truth will set you free.

Jul 7, 2008 - It's interesting Wright mentions that radical "Islamists" weren't religious before entering the camps. I've studied a lot of Middle Eastern monotheistic texts (all three) and can't find anything religious there - just political, legal and human. So what is it that deprives Middle Eastern monotheism of any spiritual content?

Jul 7, 2008 - This guy is making jokes on the other cultures and their values and beliefs. I think he is ignorant of the right objective way of judgement. He confuses Islam with Al-Qaeda and Usama Ben Laden's beliefs.Islam is against what Al-Qaeda and Ben Landen ideology, and what they all do of bombing and killing innocent people. No religion agrees with this ideology.

Jul 7, 2008 - Much of what he says is true, but he's very selective. Just because al qaeda attracts suiciders, doesn't mean that someone wasn't controlling them. Quite the contrary. 9/11 was an inside job.
3456ws Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Wright has no solutions. Just 'be very afraid' which is, of course, the Bush policy.
Hallonsylt Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Could it be because he has a New World Order agenda like so many of his other colleagues at the CFR? Hmmm. G W Bush's busniness was bailed out by Usama's brother, and G HW Bush does business with Usama's father. Al Quaida is a known CIA asset, just as Lee Harvey Oswald was.
chernobleman Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Yeah, that's why they love Bin Laden so much in Indonesia.
andysnadden Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - You are absolutely wrong, he indicates plenty of solutions, you just didn't pay close enough attention.
MrCropper Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Wow, an academic who doesn't just spout irrelevant drivel. He doesn't even seem to be a Marxist... ?
razaus Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - good points but there is always a degree of self censorship involved with all academics due to the constant danger of being labelled as racist
razaus Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - you are an idiot
ammannojacku Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - I am NOT concerned about Al Qaida or Bin Laden.. COZ NO MUSLIM Have ELECTED them Nor their names R in Quran to be Kosher.......These terrorists(whom Ronald Regan called them Freedom Fighters ) are your OWN CREATION.I am only Concerned about Muslims ..TO WAKE UP and see the REALITY ..coz You have WAGED a Holey Crusade Religious WAR against Islam and ALL Muslims...Bush whom was re-Elected,said it Clearly ..{god/his god ordered him to INVADE IRAQ for a start }..is this a SECULAR WAR?
jo232409 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - @20:00 OBL didn't want us to attack afghanistan to "bring down" the US. The reason the Soviets were unable to control the region is because of American involvement with weapons. OBL would have known this, and known that they could not come across weaponry advanced enough to hurt the US. This guy needs to travel to Afghanistan and Iraq and learn about "al-qaeda" - no fighter there would say they're fighting for "al-qaeda".
youngsamurai88 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - and thats why he's #1 enemy of the State in Iraq, think before you TALK buddy
sujith41173 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - The concerns and instances quoted in this speech are just a few stories that happen in everyday life in America. The al-qaeda is a creation of the U.S. I hope people do understand that politics has many faces and the media propogates it to the governments advantage. The war in Iraq is for oil which by now every person on this earth who is above 20 years old will understand. Why does Uinted states help the people in somalia, ethopia and elsewere who stuggle to have a single meal. PLEASE THINK.
sujith41173 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Correction, i meant why does not United states help the people in somalia, ethopia and elsewere who struggle to have a single meal. PLEASE THINK
dilbertgeg Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - wikipedia, in a straight puff-piece on Zbigniew Brzezinski, mentions "explicit support of Islamic Radicals" by the USA. Money and weapons reportedly came from the USA *THROUGH* Saudi Arabia and Pakistan ISI, and initially to Muj who were fighting alongside what became al-Q. Seymour Hersh's "Redirection" explains *current* USA support for jihadist groups linked to Al-Qaeda in some areas to fight Shia, and vice versa in Iraq.
dilbertgeg Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Gulbideen Hekmatyar talking about the 1993 bombing blames "whoever gave them green cards" being responsible. The CIA gave various Afghan and Egyptian and Saudi fighters green cards to come to the US and to train to fight.
dilbertgeg Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - the United States Senate Republican Policy Committee would disagree, writing on Kosovo and Bosnia, US involvement with Al-Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden in joint military operations.google it
dilbertgeg Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - elisan693: Al Qaeda exists because of Iran supporting the terrorist group. ------read "Clinton-Approved Iranian Arms Transfers Help Turn Bosnia into Militant Islamic Base" written by the US Senate Republican Policy Committee, (then quietly buried)Zawahiri's brother led a guerilla unit in Macedoniaand backing from "Mohamed al-Amriki" who is Ali Mohamed, a FBI/CIA asset and Green Beret who also worked directly with OBL and Zawahiri as trainer, bodyguard, tactician

KrGsMrNKusinagi0 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - British involvement? Foreign jihadists.. Incoming Arms form IRAN that we possibly knew about but CIA training and fighting with them utter nonsense. We aided them indirectly by attacking the SAME people they were attacking. Also ignoring the crimes they committed no doubt. But fighting alongside in combat.. I dont think so
