Oct 10, 2008 - I'm up to 350 at 205, but I am a lot better at squat and deadlift. I just naturally have stronger legs. Yeah, I'm at about 4 now as well, I also do wrestling and Ju Jitsu. It's good to get some cardio in, keep the blood flowing to the muscles, you know? Actually helps with the healing process.Getting bigger? lol. I used to be the same way for wrestling. Every other kid would try to cut weight or maintain on the off season. Not me, I was trying to shoot up a weight class or two.

Oct 10, 2008 - same here man. but once we get real into the season we practice everyday and i can't hit the gym much so i drop from around 185 where i'm at now to around 175 which is where i fight at. but i did the same thing when i used to wrestle, i'd go to a higher weight class to avoid cutting. and i hear you on the cardio. usually i try to go for either a mile or two jog after lifting or i do some sprints to stay in boxing shape.

Oct 10, 2008 - you wont find a high quality protein powder that tastes good, the ones that DO taste good either have too much fat in them or too much sugar, you DON'T want lactase in your protein powder if you are dieting. and too much fat is just a waste, a good rule of thumb is if it tastes like shit its probly good stuff ;)

Oct 10, 2008 - whey makes me gain weight. when i was 15 and first took it i gained 10 lbs fast. you lose that weight when you go off it tho. i heard that it can burn fat, but lose weight? i dont think it can make you lose weight. go ahead and include it in a weightloss program, usually in a weight loss program you are trying to lose fat more then anything, so be sure to choose one with a low fat content. i dont see you losing as much "weight" with whey but youll lose fat at the same time while building muscle
