Infact Matty Hayden was once humiliated in south africa by donald, pollack and de villiers and was banished to wilderness for 5 years before he made another appearance. The true blue blood batsmen that i have seen from australia are the waugh brothers, Border, Boon and Taylor. Worse Ponting cant even play swing bowling of a 19 year old playing his 4th test. People say he is the best batsman in world.

Jul 7, 2008 - Those batsmen you mentioned-Border,Boon,Waughs,Taylor...they were champion batsmen and deserve to be remembered among greats of world cricket.Hayden,ponting,Hussey ect are heavily overrated.When facing good bowlers-most of time they fail.Exception to this is possibly Gilchrist,oh,what a batsman!
