Around here we call them "Jacks Ribs" but typically they are known as Country Style Pork Ribs. They are simple to grill and a great recipe to have on hand if you need a quick and easy meal from off the BBQ grill. Although most Ribmen describe this cut more as a "chop" than "rib", the pork industry prefers to call them Ribs. So Ribs they are!All you need to get started is 4-5lbs. Country Style Pork Ribs, 3 -8oz. bottles of your favorite barbecue sauce, 12oz. beer (or water will do). Get your charcoal grill good and hot and in about an hour you'll be serving up delicious, moist and tender Jacks Barbecue Pork Ribs.Enjoy! Jul 7, 2008 - what f ur trying to use a bonfire for this recipe??

Jul 7, 2008 - I noticed someone said that the sauce is expensive. Where I am at you can buy these sauces (Kraft) at the dollar store. If too basic jazz it up with horseradish, or worchestershire etc. Key to being a good cook if improvising if money is tight...LUV these videos!!! My brother always did bbq and with just 2 videos he is asking me things...it's great!

Jul 7, 2008 - I hear ya man!!, my thing is that I don't think one has to use that much BBQ sauce for the basic cooking. Nothing wrong with that but I'd probably use 1 and add water etc. Either way, these guys are just great cooks. But yeah, you're right... BBQ sauce isn't that expensive. I always go for the generic stuff when it's on sale for a buck a piece. Many things I don't go generic like that but not with BBQ sauce. Or at least I'll NEVER buy any of those "designer" ones for 3 and 4 bucks apiece.

k8ai Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - On the Weber grill, is it hotter inside with the top and bottom vents open or closed? Does the charcoal burn longer with the vent closed?
BarbecueWeb Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - hey k8ai, generally ya want to keep the bottom vents full open, and use the top vents to control the temp. If you fully close the top vent you will extinguish the fire. The more air you allow in, the higher the temps ya get. Also, the amount of charcoal you use will also determine how hot the grill will get! Place an oven thermometer inside to monitor your desired temperature! -BBQ Pit Boys

Jul 7, 2008 - Well, I gave this a try on Friday night, and I had some friends coming over so I cooked about 8 or 9 lbs of ribs, so it took longer, and actually it was probably too many ribs for one pan. However let me tell you that the results were not disappointing. They were absolutely delicious. My 5 wife loved them and my 5 year old son said the were "Awesome."Grilling the ribs at the end is highly recommended. Also The sauce that's left over in the pan after they are done is DELICIOUS!!

This recipe blew them away and i couldn't get to the computer fast enough to tell you. Sticky and gooey and oh so yummy. Try it and you'll love it too.

Jul 7, 2008 - Hey Cannook, when i saw you're from Cape Breton i had to gt back to ya. When i was a young lad i had the good fortune to visit your part of the country. Awesome, better said surreal! It is perhaps the most beautiful remote part of the Americas. So far north, but like a lush jungle in the summer..and wonderful people -it is a place that helped me find my soul and spirit! Thanks for stoppin' by!
