Oct 10, 2008 - Only a dumb-ass hill-Billy Canadian would say something like that. I know because I'm Canadian. Funk got no play back in the day in Canada, Canada's biggest City Toronto just got their 1st R&B station 5 years ago, talk about a head up one's ass! Needless to say I don't roll there anymore, to many ignorant people like u man.

ChillGregD Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - I was in Japan for their last concert and was there to see Bernard Edwards, Got some great footage of him playing! Such a loss, I still can't believe it.

BreathDoctor Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - Good...stay the fuck home.

skierpage Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - Yeah! The keyboards on Spacer (Sheila & B. Devotion), the strings on You Fooled Around (Sister Sledge), the drums on I'm Coming Out (Diana Ross). Everyone delivered. I'm stunned how many great tracks they made 1978-1980!

TIBBSY Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - Your absolutely right.

rezi206 Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - Let's not forget, chic produced the LP "KooKoo" for Deborah Harry in '81. The single "Backfired" did fair, but the LP cover was banned in the UK.They also produced a soundtrack for the movie "Soup for one". The Single "soup for one" was not a strong hit, but the other song on the soundtrack, "Why" by Carly Simon, was a major smash hit (Chic produced). This song had a rap version! It was the 12" UK REMIX of "Bonita Applebalm" by A Tribe called Quest!!! a Collectable....!

Soul74 Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - BreathDoctor, you are a racist, white trash piece of shit. Please leave.

BreathDoctor Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - My comment had ZERO to do with Racism, you dipshit. Get a grip. You didnt like the comment, so you bring Racism into it. YOU'RE the Racist, dickhead.

Soul74 Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - Fine. I'll take race out of the equation. Rogers, Edwards and Thompson were all incredible players. If you can't look past the fact that their music was disco, you are pretty narrow-minded and not that bright.

johntgr Says:
