Jul 7, 2008 - went to throw my bag into an overhead locker on a Melbourne flight yesterday when some thing impinged in my shoulder. Some serious pain, shock then I realized my right arm would not move at all. Next day (today) my shoulder is all swollen up but at least I can feel my arm if not move it. Seeing a surgeon this morning. so thanks for the vid helps me under stand what happened & what might happen.

Jul 7, 2008 - Like Shawn Hennigan to comment. took my MRI scans to my surgeon. He basically said the rotor cuff full tears of Super, Infra & teres minor tendons is inoperable quoting age, atrophy, wear & tear of 65 years. Is this ALL there is? I have to suffer with this for life? Comments Please.

Jul 7, 2008 - The healing/physical therapy sucks quite incredibly - I'm six weeks post op and regretting the surgery heavily - after a month I felt better - phys. therapist killed me, I am now more inflamed and in more pain than ever, including the day after surgery.

Jul 7, 2008 - Dear pergolafish Sorry to hear about your fall back. On my left shoulder I had the same. Ok until 6weeks then pain big time. Ultra-sound confirmed that all 3 tendons Surpra- Infra- & teres minor had broken free of the pins. That was it for me. Left shoulder finished. Just to screw things up did in the right shoulder 4months ago. Diagnostic same deal unrepairable so now I have no shoulders at all at 65, living in OZ. Nature is a cruel mistress, she plays games then kills us all!
