Majority of our family-tree was into Rifaai silsila...We had Rateb during Gyarwi Sharif for 11 nights...During both Eids, we had the ratebi group go around town b4 going to Eid-gaah....Now ocacsionally some youngsters would play zarap...What is ur take on this? After 27 yrs, the desire in me of starting a Rifaai group in US has not been quenched...

Sep 7, 2008 - @ snizami brother assalam alaykum...i agree with your point that at alot of dergahs such actions do take place which are very close to shirk...this is due to jaahiliya..music is not the issue its how you show your respect or devotion! these walis have never told ppl to prostrate or big them up even when they were alive.care and attention is needed when going to such places.

Its sunnah of all Prophets to refer all matters to only Mushkil Kusha "Allah Al-Qadeer Al-Aleem". No self-made marble graved died people are mushkil kusha.
