Jul 7, 2008 - So much more depth than other groups of the time and place, such as Northside. This group should be better remembered. Thanks for this.

Jul 7, 2008 - massivley underrated band, when the record companies were signing up crap left right and centre because they were from manchester, how did these lads miss out? indie dance as indie dance was - amazing music, they're a big big miss

Jul 7, 2008 - and by the way, shambles84, they might not have come close to the roses but at least they didn't take over two years between their first and second albums!

Jul 7, 2008 - This band were great I saw them Phoenix Festival Summer 1993 brilliant. Bong in particular is a great song. Far better than the Mondays and as good as the Roses.

Shverina Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I like them... I'm from the other side of the Pond (US) so I don't remember this but I could totally see myself getting reeeeeeally into them live.

Jul 7, 2008 - amazing band who shelf life was not long enough, when you put um against some of the tosh we have today!!! get back together boys

StinkleMcGrew Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - New FADs were my favourite band when I left the UK in 1990 to travel for a couple of years. When I got back to the UK there was nothing to be heard of them. More real and more credible than the other Manchester scene bands, I am gutted that I never saw them play live. What happened?

Jul 7, 2008 - My faves, my absolute faves, saw them again and again, was at this gig and many others. Still have my 'Music Is Shit' T-shirt. Why did they stop playing that song? Best live track: 'Partial'. Didn't translate to vinyl though. Few of their songs did. They were the best live band. Except Regurgitator. They are maximum.

coldcrushs Says:
