Oct 10, 2008 - ironically, there is much intuitive hunches which give scientist their original inspirations and in an act of faith, they research these doing the scientitific method, to either prove or disprove it.Ironically faith itself in order to prove it, requires absolute belief and no doubts, anything less sabotages the scientific method. Ie, you only get a miracle if you truly believe it, skeptics are guarenteed no miracle, as they sabotage it by thinking about something else instead of applying it ;)
