Jul 7, 2008 - I used to love Kirk's during my teenage days but then he sadly got involved with drugs and faded away.Could have been a great player had he shown more dedication and dicipline. What a waste....

Jul 7, 2008 - ronnie o'sullivan

jbdoggy Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Great shot on the green for the brown. Screw with a bit of left hand side i think. Not really a high power shot i believe as the fine contact angle wld translate into quite a fair bit of pace for the cue ball with a moderate strength shot. above normal strength still needed tho.But Jimmy's deep screw with check side on the pink for the black on his winning frame was even more flashy.

Jul 7, 2008 - It's actually snooker, not pool. Go and watch videos of orangutans urinating in their own mouths if you aren't interested in this.

kodkodkod Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - everything was beter about snooker back then, pure entertainment, thats why the game struggles for sponsors now, they were queuing up to sponsor the games back then, but people watched it . who wants to watch it now, yawn yawn yawn, and as for the afore mentioned O sullivan, at least back then the players wanted to win, and if they didnt, they accepted it and didnt cry about it,

Chessboy Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - What the fuck ??? George Michael played snooker ?

NeilJ653 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Hahahahaahahahahahahaha

NeilJ653 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Can some one tell me who's doing the commentary?

gavpots Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - You bet, the softly spoken gent is the great Jack Karnheim, he was my favourite commentator throughout the 80's. The other is Rex Williams.

gavpots Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Sounds like Willie.

NeilJ653 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Thanks alotYou know what I thought it was Jack KarnheimLOLIt's a good 147 this

Jul 7, 2008 - It's not possible that you are 48 years old.

BrianDamage87 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Without seeing the full break I don't know, but judging by the colours it looked like such a hard 147, and he took them brilliantly. Jack Karnhem is such a great commentator too. Far better than the likes of Everton and JV.

damienspurs147 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - kirk stevens was a legend and as a big snooker fan this is the hardest 147 ive seen, where is kirk now !

lordoftimeguy1 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - he's retired now.

geekyviking Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Yes, Karnehm is definitely one of the best commentators, alongside Ted Lowe.

JapanDan144 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Is he retired? I thought he was still competing in Canada. He was my favourite player. I may be a bit biased but I think this is the best 147. That shot on the green is incomparable. And his reaction, not only at the end of the break, but when his mate Jimmy knocked in that match-winning century. I could watch this match a million times. Great snooker.
