It just seemed that way.Actually Naru, Mutsumi and Keitaro met at Hinata-Sou back when Naru was 2½, and Naru was the girl both Keitaro and Mutsumi promised to go to todai with, and eventually his memory of his child 'girlfriendS' merged and became his promised girl.
