HarboeFrancis Says:
Oct 15, 2008 - the greatest synth ever. Ever since I saw one once as a child, it's been the ultimate dream for me. And with todays pricing I guess it will stay that way. But It sure does sound extremely great..!
ARP909 Says:
Oct 15, 2008 - Actually they're quite cheap now. The MSRP when it was first released was about 2800 USA. Today they go from 300 to 800 USA.

alphacode909 Says:
Oct 15, 2008 - who ever did ,it's the Jupiter8 of the 90's. It has incredible digital filters the best you will ever find in a digital synth or Va...It will be a classic in a few years and will cost the same as the Jupiter8...grab it if you can.

LF0 Says:
Oct 15, 2008 - The most surprising thing about this synth is that Orbital never used one....the least surprising thing about this synth is that (judging by the sound at 2mins) it was used on Teenage Mutant ninja turtles (animation) whenever there was a scene at the hypnodrome

Oct 15, 2008 - It's ashame that the quality of the action and pots on the JD-800 were so shitty compared to the Jupiters

Oct 15, 2008 - very cool ambiant sounds..im about to pick up a juno 106 here soon..ive got a micro korg...im really a bass player but i loved tons of 80s bands who were very synthy..im 35 so when depeche mode hit it big and all those synth bands from the 80s it was a cool time in music..very pretty sounds you have there..d
