Jul 6, 2008 - well said!

mmbetz Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - It was great to read the Cinci Enquirer's frequent recognition of choir master Dr. Stephen Zegree and his contributions to Team Lachey's spectacular success. I thought Ms. Patti showed great class when she named and thanked her musical director on-air. It's too bad that Nick could not do the same. Steve's internationally-renowned Gold Company vocal jazz ensemble will present its 30th Anniversary Show on February 9 at Western Michigan University. He is an amazingly-talented guy!

Jul 6, 2008 - I totally agree. I thought it was also very appropriate when Ms. Patti thanked the show's Musical Director and musicians. They also did a fabulous job. Everyone did. I hated that there had to be 4 'runner-up' choirs...they all so richly deserved to win!

Nuance5 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - To be fair, I wonder how many Team Lachey members had sung this in high school choir (SCPA or wherever)? If most of them were already familiar with it, then they wasn't learning it from scratch."Flight of the Bumblebee" and Dr. Stephen Zegree were certainly Nick's secret weapons. A well deserved win!

Toady128 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - Go Cincinnati! They did win the Clash of the choirs!

homejewel Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - Lachey did a fantastic job of showcasing his whole choir and their abilities. Isn't that what this competition was all about - the choir? This was an incredible performance of a very challenging piece. If Patti Labelle would have done more of what her choir did on the Day 1, her team could have won, but imho, the soloists took over the choir.

Jul 6, 2008 - When I first heard this I though they were nuts. They were crazy--like a pack of foxes!

masakitakeda Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - This must have took them FOREVER to get this down! but it paid off. Way cool! Never heard this composition done with voices before.

fieldsfan336 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - If any NBC execs are reading this, PLEASE PLEASE bring back COTC for future seasons! On behalf of all of us current or former HS and college singers out there...THANK YOU!

kiwiloveraudrey Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - That was amazing! Sooo happy that they won!

Jul 6, 2008 - If I may, I would like to guide you to my previous comment. Makes it all rather interesting........

Bmuskie Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - For anyone that has ever sung choir you know how amazingly difficult this had to be. Not only to get the notes down pat but to get the Tempo perfect throughout the piece and to MEMORIZE it entirely in only a few short weeks is absolutely amazing. It is easy to get a pop song down that you have heard on the radio many times but to be able to do this for a piece that is a classical "instrumental" and to do it as well as they did is remarkable. Good job Cincy!

Jul 6, 2008 - Absolutely amazing, I loved this song, and I loved the show!

silvrlvr Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - How about an MP3 of this to benefit Children's Hospital? I'd buy a download!

bcperry1962 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - I liked this type of show because it was quick, entertaining, and had something for everybody. And most of ALL....NOBODY had to eat some kind of disgusting BULLSHIT to be in it like other reality shows! Regardless of who won.....DID YOU ENJOY THE SHOW?

AliKey Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - i agree with you. when i first heard the premise and who was going to be on the show i thought "oh christ, this kind of garbage?" but when i watched it, i actually enjoyed it. it was pure fluff sure but it was fun while it lasted. i do hope they bring it back, it's cheap and easy to produce and smart to put on during the writers strike

cincin2u Says:
