Oct 10, 2008 - You fucking Ashkenazi call this CRAP art. You must be delusional. No offense to Mr. Cohen, but you are a soulless ashkenazi playing the tune to destroy Western Culture. You may cal Jerry Springer an artist. In the end he (Springer) is an Ashkenazi, destroyer of civilizations. Do not even worry worm...

nolittleboy Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - What's the matter with you head fucks just a poet reading his thoughts with the use of three cords. And all because he knows unless your mother reads them to, you his thoughts will be lost for ever.If he was a painter he would be just another JP.

kmndi Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - Please define "art" for me then.

tvkid9879 Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - I think this is a very well written and overall a great song =).

manyhighhills Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - Once man was able to accurately draw a map of the World, he took on a new higher order of nastiness, so high than any Lord above would have moved to another Galaxy. So how is that on a view of modern-day existing Religion, in any form?Remember, drive a car, or use electricity- you are modern-day, don't fool yourslf.

kiril1 Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - Before speaking about ashkenazi jews, open some history books.A piece of scum. Most of the jews before 1945 were ashkenazi. So is Cohen and me.

pampasman Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - art is what artists do, obviously

drinkcorrea Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - Sir, notice I did not mention the word Jew or Jews in my posts. That's because Ashkenazis are neither Jews nor Semitic. Also, history books reflect the view of who writes them and history is usually written by the winners in any conflict. As for history, you and all here must know or should know that many Ashkenazis served in the Third Reich's army. Please, consider this my final post on this topic. I must move on.

manyhighhills Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - Quote: "...and history is usually written by the winners in any conflict".Case in point is the loss of pre-Roman United Kingdom history, totally obliterated by the conquering Romans here, an early form of burning of the books, so to speak. But there is rumours of interesting documents in the Vaticans libraries, hidden away from us plebeians back in the UK?

Skeeterbag Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - Like this song and love the album it's on, but one that has always bugged me is that I wish it could have been recorded in another decade than the 80s. It has a little too much "early snyth" in it and the girls-only bridge is just distracting to the overall tone of the tune.Love Leonard Cohen though.

floOsuspulcher Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - omg i saw him live yesterday in berlin :) he is stil amazing even tho hes 74! his voice is just stunning a great artistx

mikeybrumbrum Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - He's just got a brilliant style, of his own.And it's all a bit biblical, because Cohen is the Hireditory name, passed down for centruies, of a jewish religious sect. An actual part of the religious structure of the jeish culture, might be a better way of putting it.So he's preaching pretty well.

dhnigga Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - my friend was there! he said it was great.

floOsuspulcher Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - it was awesum :)x

corneliusbumfluff Says:

Scientologypoweruser Says:

senseideano Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - Go jack off to Tom Cruise and leave this music to people who understand it. What a legend.

AxlRose84 Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - This song is satire about singer who plans his comeback as Cohen did when he was recording this album

saschaleib Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - The song of the century! Read the lyrics!

xXPriNCeSxXx Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - Id like the future my favorateX

zynnetrix Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - So that is what you get, when you are famous, examining religious choices and finally decide against Hubbard's "teachings". Poor. Calling something like this music crap shows us all exactly, that you haeven't really developed your mind in the past 20 years that you are with Scientology You're poor... What makes me especially sad, is, that even Chick Corea cooperates with your economic cult..

manyhighhills Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - Scientology- a religion for LA based ex-cocaine-riddled American freaks, with a lack of grounding?

Tariiz Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - love this music

spongebobnik Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - That's a more reasonable interpretation than the Scientology one. With his comeback, Cohen found himself confronting new issues. Anybody have another interpretation? This one has to be tied to The Future.
