Jul 6, 2008 - they are both great sports and they both have their own qualities. iv been watching some nfl videos and their hits are huge most are bigger then rugby's but they are different. in nfl they dont really seem to tackle but they more try and colide whith the player which as much force as possible which is great watch. rugby on the other hand is more about techique. wrapping the guy up so he cant offload while still trying to put your shoulder into him. spear tackles arnt to healthy either.
