Oct 11, 2008 - Heh, KQ3 and KQ4 were pretty much the only known games with a serious time limit! (Well, the endgame of KQ6 did as well, but that's beside the point)

Oct 11, 2008 - Someone with an MT-32 or LAPC-1 should redo this -- these early 90s Sierra games had fantastic music!

MrWhitman Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - Huh! I just noticed a typo. The book is called the COMPLEAT Works of William Shakespear. Shouldn't the be the COMPLETE Works of William Shakespear?

Oct 11, 2008 - its always amazing to see the technology available in the year of your birth

MikeSol99 Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - I recommend to anyone who is playing these old Sierra games to get an MT-32 on Ebay. They are dirt cheap. The music in Sierra games is really good but only on the MT-32. The adlib sound I just heard in this video sounds really bad in comparison.

Oct 11, 2008 - The only thing annoying about this game is the thing at the beginning where you must type in a word from the manual

alexander1485 Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - at least now i don't have to keep pausing to read whats going on like the first 3

bojak90 Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - Will somebody tell me the word? I got the collection for Windows xp, and it won't let me extract the manuals.

comedyandtragedy Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - I believe that is 'olde' english.. unless they were making a reference to the reduced shakespeare's 'compleat wrks'.. but I think this game came before that..

callmechia Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - My second favorite King's Quest game and one of my favorite adventure games of all time! Also, imo, the ghost sequence at night in this game is one of the best single sequences of any game. Such nostalgiac memories... I just finished replaying this game today, on to King's Quest V!
