Of course no video collection would be complete without the cliche Yundi Li video of him playing Chopin's "Fantasie" Impromptu in C-sharp minor, Op. 66 No. 4 This is one of my favorite pieces.did you know: Chopin hated this piece? He composed it when he was just 24 and regretted it ever after.

Jul 20, 2008 - wow...i remember from the movie impromptu chopin (hugh grant) played this and then said he didn't like it. he said it was too predictable for an impromptu but this has to be one of my favorites! i'm sure if chopin heard this man play his song he'd eat his own words. it was perfect! excellent performance :)

Gakchan Says:

Jul 20, 2008 - LOL maybe that's what "inspires" him to play so good. j/k ^.~

Jul 20, 2008 - I think you're a damn idiot lol. This guy is THE top pianist in the world right now and you say needs much work? This isn't some random chinese guy playing here.

Jul 20, 2008 - simplemtene uno de los mejores pianistas del momento. Claro está, ahi solo era un niño...increible

orjus Says:

Jul 20, 2008 - Apart from being rude ,you seem to be ignorant of musicas an art - there can be no top pianist anywhere -and Iwas commenting on music, not his being a random Chinesepiano player.I believe he lacks insight in this performance which I find quite bland and withoutcharacter .Running about the keyboard does not anartist make .

sla3u3c7e Says:

Jul 20, 2008 - who are you again to be judging him like that? I was just wondering, surprise me : )

orjus Says:

Jul 20, 2008 - Steinwaygrande1 -you're not helping Lindi much ..does your comment mean he copied Horowitz ,if so ,thisis not sayong much for Lindi as the artist you claim he is ..after all Horowitz was first in this and now Lindi .identical ?? so much for talent

KaitouKudou Says:

Jul 20, 2008 - What do you mean by insite? I can close my eyes and listen to this piece and still feel every bit of emotion the music has to offer. What more is needed? His a pianist, not an actor. Appologise for calling you an idiot. I said that cause I thought you just decided to say the performance need much work just to be a prick. Since that's not the case I take it back and would like to hear what you think he could do more musically to improve the performance.
