Because unless you like gophers, moles, rats, mice, ferrets or other vermin causing a major problem, stop killing the foxes because they control the populations of these pests. Plus, every fox you kill makes a vixen successfully raise two times more young because their instinct tells them to birth more young to counter balance the incresing deaths of their kin.
