WTF, of course it can and will... influenza like most viruses undergo rapid mutations thus though we may have immunity for secnd exposure, the mutation of the virus makes it seem lik a new virus and the immune system does not recognize it (WE are all susceptible).

Jul 20, 2008 - This video is not out of date yet! While Flu vaccine manufacturing companies try to develop a vaccine effective against the H5N1, it is not possible to anticipate on the pandemic virus nor vaccine. The video explains this quite clearly, you should watch it again!
