Jul 20, 2008 - Well, first off your post references the world, not the universe, please choose a subject and stick with it.The big bang theory states that the conditions before the big bang are unknowable and thus inconsequental to this universe (ockams razor), in other words we will probably never know what caused the big bang, but it doesn't necessitate a creator, an intelligent designer or a God. It may have involved one of those, but didn't necessitate one by any means.

The existence of god does not make the creation of the universe any simpler, it just adds another infinitely complex framework above it.

Oh BTW YouTubers.. no creationists anywhere near this site but the next time you meet one, here's an interesting bit of news from the Times of London(published July 15th 2008) --a science article on the radio carbon dating of a stand of conifers in Dalarna in central Sweden discovered by Univ of Umeaa. C14 date? Around 10,000 years old.I think this is the first clearly dated organism that predates the Biblical 4004 BC.

Logic and reason will never impress a creationist, any more than threats of hellfire impress an atheist.
