Jul 20, 2008 - Yes, I must admit "Sunchyme" is one of my favourite songs. But this song is also wonderful! :DI like them both - the original one by Dream Academy and the remix (with the sample) by Dario G. :)

Jul 20, 2008 - I wonder, what´s the real name of the song?On tha CD I found it lately it´s called "Sunchyme" too. But if you search by google you get 84.200 hits for "Sunshine", only 49.800 for "Sunchyme"
ghos7face Says:
Jul 20, 2008 - this was meant to be under MatmanFromLublin´s comment, I´m talkin Dario G´s song

Jul 20, 2008 - Of all the endless musical (or film, for that matter) attmepts in the '80s to capture a '60s vibe, this is one of the only songs (and videos) which actually did.
SinoYank Says:
Jul 20, 2008 - usmctanks1, doesn't the KKK have a website for your kind? People like you are the kind that everyone from the 60's except the KKK would have despised. Why don't you go look for a nostalgic song about segregation, Apartheid, or slavery.

Jul 20, 2008 - I'm sure the correct title of the Dario G's hit is "Sunchyme". (btw I have their CD "Sunmachine")Maybe there are lots of other songs by other artists with "Sunshine" in their titles. :)

Jul 20, 2008 - That episode of King of the Hill where Luanne and Buckley's angel are jumping on the trampoline with this song playing in the background was probably the best episode ever.

Jul 20, 2008 - If you listen to both versions and rate them simply on their own merit, they're both wonderful, meaningful versions. Good music is just simply good music, no matter what.

Jul 20, 2008 - I love this song! It makes me quite melancholic though...I think of the times I used to live in a small town way north, not far from Canada.
KS5040 Says:
Jul 20, 2008 - I live in a northern town. This song also reminds me of a long ago vacation to our friends house in rural Ontario.80s music just has a certain magic that can NOT be replicated.
KS5040 Says:
Jul 20, 2008 - A certain experience of visiting a northern paper mill town would have to include Berlin, NH. The mill closed down, and I drove through the town during the winter when the temperature was -22F. I ate at a local eatery and the people were very friendly!
