Sep 6, 2008 - 8小節がワンコーラスになっていて、7、8小節目にbassとrhodesがフィルを入れるというだけのしばりルールになっていますね。そのフィルが食って入るところもにくいです。簡単にいえば3:18からの4つ打ちが盛り上がるんですけど、実はそれまでのコーラスが伏線になっていて、最初は8ビートを沿うようにして構成がわかりやすい様に入りながら徐々に崩していって、3/4拍子や16パラディドル、タム回し、スネアロールのバリエーション、3連崩しなどが続きますが、さらにその4つ打ちの2つ前のコーラスでは４ビートにして徐々に規則性を持たせて行き、4つ打ちへの布石にしていて、全体の流れも考えられた非常にクレバーな構成。にもかかわらずアドリブみたいですね。それを証明する箇所がいくつか...特に2コーラス目でfrankがフィルの頭を抜いていますが、これは8小節目が控えめのスタッカート気味なので、狙ってやったのか、それとも忘れたのかは判断がつきにくく、これはdavidにとっても想定外だった様で、1:02くらいに「what？」て感じでdavidがfrankに微妙なアイコンタクトを送るところも秀逸です
