He should say the, "The Bible says except a man be born again, he shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven". Osteen does not discern and preach the true gospel which shows we are sinners and unless a man be "born again" he will not see the kingdom of heaven John 3:3 Bible teachers will be judged the harshest before God. Many Christians do not embrace Osteen's prosperity, pragmatic approach with the Scriptures. Does he teach on sin or eternal damnation? Without judgment/accountability there is no Grace.

Will someone that has NEVER heard the word or the Gospel go to Heaven? How can you judge someone on the basis if they have never heard the word? But those who never even heard of Christ or the bible sad to say will go to hell which is exactly why it is so important for Christians to travel abroad to every part of the world preaching the good news.

Jul 6, 2008 - I'm not a committed church goer. But I'm from Houston. I've been to lakewood once or twice with my cousin who goes there weekly. There are so many religions. They argue with each other, trying to prove who has the right religion. I went there, all I saw was acceptance. The service is very simple. It has one goal - go out there and be happy, thankful, think positive. He motivates you to lead a happy life, that will eventually be passed on to others. It's simple, that's why his church is growing.

Jul 6, 2008 - you guys are ridiculous. God alone can judge. Ever heard the scripture "Judge not lest ye be judged." ? He's not saying there's another way into heaven, but whoever sets themselves up to be the judge of another's soul (which all of you seem to be doing) is setting themselves up for failure. Jesus didn't come to condemn the world but to save it. And just because you don't get to the Father doesn't mean that you go to Hell forever. You people need to take your heads out of your behinds and read.

Jul 6, 2008 - i am not judging the man, i am basing everything i am saying off what he is saying in that interview. he is confusing people by what he is saying. he needs to read the scripture and not his translation of it, he needs to read the actual living word of God. he is going around and giving people that don't want to accept Jesus into their heart a way out. the only way to get to heaven is through Jesus, nothing else.

This symbolizes a "self righteous" attitude. You must always test/compare something against what Scripture teaches. You need to understand the entire context & not misinterpret the Bible. We are to be discerning in a world with so many "self proclaimed" Bible experts.

The Bible shows numerous times of people getting babtized in Jesus name, but never once in the name of the father, son, and the holy ghost.
