Sep 6, 2008 - We used with our 8wks old baby. She suffers with reflux so it worked well keeping her upright in bath. She seemed quite happy to sit in it. Much easier than a normal baby bath full of water for emptying etc.

Sep 6, 2008 - Thank you for the comment. Perhaps this sugestion would help you and your baby. I met this maternity nurse while in college for nursing. She'd tell all her patients that by keeping the baby on at least 30 degrees and higher particularly for at least one hour after feeding, would speed up stomacal emptying time and decrease the pressure on such young esophageal sphincters.

Sep 6, 2008 - This girlfriend of mine keeps her baby girl on the detachable car seat at all times. By kepping a folded blanket/bed spread under the baby's back she manages to keep her bbgirl at least 30 dregrees even to sleep at night. No laying flat on her back or bacinets. Just up and comfortable on her car seat. She is doing wonderlfully now at 2 months. Best of luck. Congratulations!

Sep 6, 2008 - this looks neither safe OR relaxing! There's a reason God made a way for the baby to GET OUT of the womb...why would you want to simulate something that was meant to come to an end! And are you kidding..have you seen the price? WHATEVE!!!

Sep 6, 2008 - It it totally safe and wonderfully relaxing! Just ask the thousands of parents across the world who have been using these for years! In Germany, doctors can actually prescribe these tubs for babies with colic and gas. Every midwife has one to use in the hospital to bathe the newborns. This tub is designed to keep baby warm and immersed in the water. Worth their weight in gold!! That is if you care about gently transitioning your baby to the outside world.

Sep 6, 2008 - I got to use one of these for my son, when he was about 4 or 5 months old and he just LOVED It so much! We went to baby massage and they had this tummy-tub for the ending, so the babies could relax and all the babies there loved it too. It was so cute, seeing 4 babies in their tummy tub at once... If i could, I would've bought one, if they were sold around here.. Both my son and I loved this tub.. but only used a few times, cuz of the course. Just had to youtube the name!

Sep 6, 2008 - Would any real mother tell me about her experience with the tommy tub? It seems safe and fun, but... or no buts?
