Ya I agree with N. charleston being the last place to settle down in i don't like being around remont road or down by spruill at night it creeps me out alot. I don't mind the other end of it though up by otranto that parts not that bad. Downtown is really nice area but i would never be able to afford to live down in that area maybe west ashley though.

Jul 20, 2008 - Summerville. About a hour or less drive from Charleston. But as a born and raised New Yorker it was tough for me to ever adjust to that SC lifestyle. Everything so far away and have to drive so far just to get to a store.

Jul 20, 2008 - 8:11....I almost died there. The no swimming signs are there for a reason. The undertow was wicked, and it took ALL my energy just to make it back too the shore. But this video is great. I haven't been gone from Chucktown very long, and I already miss it. I must say I was spoiled by growing up there.

Jul 20, 2008 - We just came back from vacation in Charlston. It rained every day! What a bad luck! The city is nice but it has a lot of areas that don't look very safe. I watched this video before my vacation so I didn't excpect to find so many areas that are bad. It's too bad.
