Jul 6, 2008 - Great but it's better if you show the frosting process. I am not sure how to get the the frost some kind of like the mixture of cream cheese, vanilla extract, icing sugar and etc.

Jul 6, 2008 - Your cake looks amazing! It looks like a lot of mixing is involved, but will that lead to a tough cake (as mine always turn out when there is too much mixing)

Jul 6, 2008 - Do you think it would turn out okay without the nuts? My sister is allergic. Apart from that, it looks awesome.

Jul 6, 2008 - Excellent! I made it without nuts and it is still great. Very fluffy, and the icing is great. Thanks for the recipe! I will probably gain 5 pounds after this but it is so worth it.

Jul 6, 2008 - OMG this cake is to DIE for! I made a couple adjustments, however. I used the mixer for everything and added the nuts to the cake instead of the icing. Using the mixer for the icing makes it very smooth.Thank you for sharing! This is a keeper indeed!

Jul 6, 2008 - Wow. I tip my hat. It was pretty good. I must admit. But, if you want to give your cake that professional look, or make it a bit more glossy, cute off the very top of the first two layers so you don't have any crust or such in the middle. Nice cake. Plus, doing this makes the cake much more even, makes it easier to spread icing, and to put a cake on so it ends up a one perfectly even size.
