Jul 20, 2008 - It's "A Song for Kingdoms: From the Opera Aida" The romanized version of the title is "Ouke ni Sasagu Uta - Opera "Aida" Yori"It's 2002, Hoshigumi, apparently. :-)

Jul 20, 2008 - Well, more usual than switching between musumeyaku and otokoyaku at any rate!! But still reasonably rare. It's done more commonly in the Revue part but occasionally in the play section, eg recently, Asami Hikaru as Scarlett in Gone with the Wind or Sena Jun as the title role in Elizabeth. Those managers at Takarazuka just love mixing things up - as if the normal level of gender-bending weren't enough!! :P

Jul 20, 2008 - Seeing Asa-san as a mesumeyaku would just be way to nutty for me! I gotta hunt down some of that Elizabeth footage now!
