stratsrul Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - so basicly its the repeated drone cord reacting with the melodythanks

cryofom Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - yup. the drone is 5th fret on low E and an octave higher on 7th fret of the D string.

stratsrul Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - thanksi got an ebow about a week ago and have bean wondering how he does the bagpipe noise

FireballSpeedy Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - 0.0 that was amazing! i know nothing about guitars, but it looked like there were buttons on the frets, is that what they were?

sjsongs Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - Those are the mother-of-pearl inlays! The eBow creates an electronic signal that "picks" the notes without having to actually pluck the strings... Maybe you are just pulling our legs about the buttons?

FireballSpeedy Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - as i said before, i know nothing about guitars, so that really was me just guessing. sorry if i somehow annoyed you

stirfriedgat Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - He's Using a looper and on the main melody of amazing grace i think he jus turnson the chorus and also a lot of reverb.

z10yded Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - ебошь!)))

Billionwatts Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - fuckin sick dude, I will never be at your level! Awesome.

Bamablocker Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - Phil Keaggy is AMAZING!!! he's a strong Christian as well. he played with jason truby on P.O.D's last album, not their newest one but the last one.

neopandorex Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - no its cool ;) u should try to pickup a guitar!

FireballSpeedy Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - unfortunatly, the only guitar i've ever picked up has been a guitar hero guitar. and i can't play hard. lol. o.0perhaps i will try a reral one though

knoxrox167 Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - for an extra $7,000 you could just buy a moog guitarthose have infinite sustain lol

Beshimi Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - it functions by magnetism, actually. the magnets in the grooves of the E-bow vibrate the string just as if it had been plucked, except the magnets keep it constantly vibrating.

musicforever5194 Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - perfect.....

levy3poop Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - but why go broke for an instrument, i mean, i'm a die hard player but 7 grand is a LITTLE steep

knoxrox167 Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - yeah...the moog guitars are amazing but for only $100 you can get something that does pretty much the same thing

Tralman1965 Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - A one-man band.

venusreprise Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - it's never too late to appreciate something great : P E R F E C T anybody knows what year was this video made?

29Music Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - Almost impossible....

TehSandman18 Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - What exactly does this thing do? And how much it costs? Sounds awesome lol

stumppi Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - that "thing" makes some sort of magnetic field to strings and they start to vibrate and it makes that spooky sound

TokaCola Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - i love ebow stuff

Tralman1965 Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - I'm pretty sure in the late 80's venus.

scottlindsey Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - it's a clip from his "Electric Guitar Style" lesson video/dvd ... i think the orig. vhs was released in the 80's sometime. i used to have it but the tape wore out from watching it so much :P
