ddreamax Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - he's looking at where he's striking the ball. being aware of the ball as it enters the strike zone. Look a couple feet ahead of the strike zone. Then you can see the ball and your target through the peripheral. When the ball is really close, you can't focus on it, you gotta time it by instinct.

Jul 6, 2008 - ddreamax, you're suppose to look at the ball even after contact point. it keeps ur body from turning all different directions while swinging and it helps to make sure u hit the ball on the sweetspot.

Jul 6, 2008 - I cant believe how long he keeps his head down or eye on the ball during and after the contact!

asonjdj Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - Man, if you like one-handed backhands that this is your bible, and if you have a 2-hander then you're probably thinking about changing! Regardless, its a thing of beauty!!!

darkfighte Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - lol..hes looking at he's setting his contact point from behind the racket. He's not looking at the ball, but rather, hes looking at the point of contact from behind his racket, so, hes really actually watching his racket, which also allows him to focus on the court at the same time.

Arsenal252 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - what grip is that?

samourai19123 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - Something between Eastern and Semi-Western.I've tried to hit like that, but I can't manage to get any spin on the ball that way..I'll just keep my Semi-Western grip^^Works fine, much spin, pace, and control for me :)

charliewuu Says:
