Aug 21, 2008 - y wont even a minor imperfection b tolerated?

DaleStrickland Says:

Aug 21, 2008 - I love how its made =]!

Jarren202 Says:

Aug 21, 2008 - steventean, basically if there are any imperfections in the master vinyl then these imperfections will be on every copy made from it.If you've ever bought a new record and played it only to find the needle jumps every time (even though it's a brand new record) at a certain part, it's probably to do with a unseen imperfection on the vinyl. These imperfections usually look like tiny dots on the vinyl you can feel with your finger.

jimmybobbin Says:

Aug 21, 2008 - which is why test presses are made. Which are unique in themsleves

texs2007 Says:

Aug 21, 2008 - Never mind jumps! I had Loverboy's "Hot Girls In Love" 45...went through about 10 copies...every copy got to a certain part, about 2:30 into the single version, and would stick in the same damn spot.

Mydnytefantasy89 Says:

Aug 21, 2008 - Is it still possible to record on vinyl? Like, at home?

dissent88 Says:

Aug 21, 2008 - Please, can some of you guys look at my vinyl collection? It includes, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, KISS, AC/DC, and more!

TehBloggaar Says:

Aug 21, 2008 - I need somewhere that will press a 7" for me in North America, but I have no idea where to look.Does anyone know where to get 7" records pressed?

acraze21 Says:

Aug 21, 2008 - Once lost, they can never be brought back :'(.

acraze21 Says:

Aug 21, 2008 - Digital is 1's and 0's. Analog usually requires physical contact. CD's are recorded in 44.1 thousand "pixels" per second at 16 bits per pixel. That is considered sd audio, when lossless. 24 bit in 48 k sample rate is hd. (I prefer 96) Think of it like film. You have the actual film itself that you would see blown up 3 stories high and still be infinitely clear. Then you got the cd/dvd which is good up to about 40 inches. Then you got hd which is finally getting to what digital should sound like.

Haydz01 Says:

Aug 21, 2008 - good to see some one else has the same idea plus appreciates it too and your also right about picture/photos too

FixedHDD Says:

Aug 21, 2008 - Yes! But it is wayne to expensive. Here in Germany you can buy the manufactured recordingequipment for LPs.

Mydnytefantasy89 Says:

Aug 21, 2008 - Oh. Well thanks for the help anyway. I don't live in Germany. I want to though
