Jul 6, 2008 - I got a M1 last year and it's a Springfield, really nice shape paid $600 for it. The only other Springfield M1's I've seen have been around $1,000. They shoot really nice, and are easy to sight in. One of my favorite guns that I own.If you ever get one watch your fingers around the bolt. It will close on you and it will hurt. Learned that the hard way, and everyone I have talked to about my M1 has asked me if I've closed my finger or thumb in the bolt yet.
