Aug 20, 2008 - just remember what kind of state the charts were in when this came out...Awesome song

dimi2680 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - They have very strange sound, I haven't heard anything like this before...I like it ,though :D

groinhat Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - I've still got this on 7" vinyl. Analogue!Simple songs, nice tunes, drowned in feedback and distortion, sounds like the Ramones slowed down slightly and hit by a train. They recorded acoustic versions of some of the songs off Psychocandy, hard to find but worth hearing.

hunkaburninlovexxx Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - Fuckin' brilliant.

BeastieXXXXXX Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - You are with the wrong crowed dear, go listen to some Britney Spears, for sure she has turned the vacuum off.....

Bradius123 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - yep I got the vinyl too, but no fucking record player.....this is one song...;) that is better on vinyl...the crappier the record player the better...goose bumps

Bradius123 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - Is this the pinnacle of Jesus and Mary chain musical pinnacle? Discuss.....I F**cking think so, it all went down hill after pyschocandy....

fatimida Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - Huuum, you're right: i'm in the wrong crowd... But then, you're wrong: if i wanted to listen to some wall of noise i would rather go to the source, and spend some time listening to Berio, Ligeti, Cage or Stockhausen! It's a big world...

BeastieXXXXXX Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - Ok....wrong suggestion :-) let's give Britney a break :-)....was in a bad mood...You could try Einsturzende Neubauten for some really good noise.Big world indeed....opinions and tastes....to be discussed...that's why we bother signing in. Cheers!

oscarelgy Says:

gmcg923 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - Yes it is ridiculous to try to get that much feedback out of one amp, but it kicks ass.

wilson2810 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - i agree with bradius123/everything they did after psychocandy was piss poor//

wilson2810 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - btw/psychocandy is still one of the best albums ever made/along with big blacks songs about fucking//

bgrrrlie Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - I've got the 12"...bought it the day it came out.

Ohfishyfishyfish Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - I'm afraid I'm going to have to agree. Although I'm listening to the Barbed Wire Kisses B-sides compilation right now, which is very good. Also The Complete Peel Sessions is brilliant.

wolfmega321 Says:

ParticleMan24 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - REVENGE OF THE SHOEGAZERS!!!These guys OD on paint thinner or what??

str8ngthofh3rc Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - Psychocandy was just a bunch of guys who didn't know how to play their instruments. Automatic is better. Head On > Never Understand (this is still fun to listen to, though)

clivetemple Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - Sidewalking is class.

BabyWetsAllNight Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - Psychocandy is their best album, and this is one of the best songs off it. That album is monumental. I do think Automatic is my 2nd fave though
