Jul 20, 2008 - The Birthday Party did indeed play the Hacienda....twice to my knowledge. I'm not sure when the Hacienda opened but the Party played there in 1982 and 1983.I saw them once...at Leeds Poly, 1982. The greatest gig I've ever been to.
