Western2459 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - though I'm danish, I have to say that this have nothing to do with correct dressage...

Alcar10101 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - so you think you would ride this dressage better? Or your horse could do it better? is also think the musik is okay, not the comerical one, but fits to blue.

Western2459 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - no but, nothing of this is correct dressage, try reading FEI's rules about the tests, I think you'll be surprised....

pegasus97 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - If this has nothing to do with correct dressage, then you are saying Anky and others are not correct. Why are they winning and placing?

Western2459 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - yes, you should read the book "Tug of War" by Gerd Heuschmann...then you'll understand what I mean.

pegasus97 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - That does not explain why judges are marking these riders at this time. This is again, the debate of modern versus classical dresage. This is the way it is TODAY. Only if judges and the ruling committees decide to change, will trainers and competitors change.

Western2459 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - the reason for why the judges praise this, is because of the crowd, imagine how far a judge would come if he gave Anky bad grades, it's because of the crowd's cheer, when 50,000 people cheer over a tensed horse, the judges feel good about giving high grades, and the focus on a relaxed horse have been switched with high leg moves.

pegasus97 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - This will not change at this time, so is a moot subject. Judges should not be swayed by crowds. AGAIN, riders will perform to what judges are marking.

Western2459 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - but they do, the crowd effect the grades.....people loves high leg moves, though the horse is tensed, tossing it's back, swifting the tail, and makes tens steps.

pegasus97 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - That WILL NOT change the way things are done AT THIS TIME, no matter what the books say. End of debate.

pegasus97 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - Have posted results from first round of competiton in Aachen on my channel page for those interestd and will have updates throughout Olympic competition in August.

pegasus97 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - BTW, Matine's tail switching and "floppy" ears are traits she ws born with, and have nothing to do with being tense or under pressure.

cedricdigs Says:
