Nov 21, 2008 - Oh well one day they will come out with an open ended game that is truly open ended. Like for eg. when you reach the end of a flat world map which is what all maps are in any game these days. It should fast travel you to the opposite side of the map thus avoiding invisible walls. But to take that many steps further why not create an actual global map where the map is a round world map just like a planet so it would be impossible to end up with invisible walls.

Nov 21, 2008 - Granted, a good idea. But that would be ridiculously hard to not only design but store onto a disk and hard drive. Maybe our next gen will have those capabilities. We can only hope. Picture it: a endless utopia of lands and creatures to come across. Oblivion on steriods.
