Nov 21, 2008 - Actually Josh would best fit in the class of "Baritenor" which is in fact what almost ALL "Baritones" are. The male voice is capable of reaching great heights but this is denied by the vast majority who don't know how. The "head voice" is believed not to be part of the "real voice" but is in fact the key to unlocking a man's full range, which is OFTEN capable of reaching just as high as a female coloratura!

Nov 21, 2008 - Is it just my diseased imagination, or do singers naturally raise their eyebrows when going into a high note?

Nov 21, 2008 - He is not flat. I'm trying to figure out at wut part he is flat but there isn't.

Nov 21, 2008 - I was thinking the same thing but try listening to the first o night divine on night he might be a little bit.
Jeremybug2 Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - He's still amazingly good though.
Jupetta Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - It's vocal technique. It keeps the pitch up and allows for a rounder sound.
Broadica Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - I wouldn't exactly define his performance as flat. "felt" and "hope" were unfortunately off-pitch, but that was it as far as i could hear. He's got a wondrous timbre, but, his vibrato is very unpleasant. The boy can sing, but if you put Pavarotti's vibrato with Josh's timbre......THAT would be angelic.

Nov 21, 2008 - i figured out where he's flat: he's flat at 1:29 on the word night, he's pretty flat

Nov 21, 2008 - Excellent!! A 5* Performance!! If people would stop trying to pick apart every little thing people do and just enjoy things for what they are and not as people want them to be, this world would be a far better place to live. In Christ's service, Rev. Paul
