Nov 21, 2008 - Original cartoon was likely silent (1910) and titles were in French. At the time silent films were shown with live bands or organist accompaniment. This jazzy music and english title cards were likely added many years later, when possibly someone was putting together a VHS compilation. So far I've managed to figure out the music is from the 1920s; the band is the Fletcher Henderson Orchestra; and the trumpet soloist is the great Louis Armstrong. Still trying to ID the song. More later.
