Jul 7, 2008 - hmm, when kucinich made this a campaign point, I was skeptical. For some reason it seemed orwellian, and although I'd trust kucinich to do something like that, whoever's next would have a bigger government and statistically is almost guarenteed to be corrupt. So, dennis didn't convince me at all, but this video really helps me swallow this idea better. I like it now.

Jul 7, 2008 - You can't argue with peace. Peace is great, and the DoP is full of great intentions. But what will this do to us? By having a DoP we assume that our government doesn't represent us and is all about going to war and nation build. The government should be representative of the people anyway.

If we want a voice for peace in the executive branch let's vote for a pro-peace president, here are your choices: Paul, Kucinich, and Gravel.

When she speaks of the problem being people living by their strong convictions being the problem, she's refering to Christians. She says in her book not to make the pathetic mistake of clinging to the old rugged cross.
